Tonefilm Århus was started in 2021, founded by three very experienced sound recordists, namely Byron Meyer, Lars Gonzalez and Stig Sparre-Ulrich. Together, we have over 65 years of experience from productions of Danish and international TV series, feature films, documentaries and commercials. Instead of working separately, we decided to work together. Both as Sound recordist and around equipment rental.

Lars Gonzalez
Tone master
Lars Gonzalez has more than 10 years of experience recording sound for feature films, TV series, commercials, documentaries, reality TV, TV programs and everything in between.
Lars has most recently been the sound recordist on the Netflix film "Toscana", the feature film "A beatiful Life" and is just starting Frederik Hviid and Michael Noer's TV series "Huset" for the National Danish Broadcast Company DR.
Whether it's in Denmark, Scandinavia, the world or jumping out of a plane, on the side of a mountain or on the way down the ski hill, he delivers good sound, high spirits and good energy.
Byron Meyer

Byron has worked for 14 years with sound since he took a Bachelors degree in sound design in South Africa in 2008. Byron has lived in Denmark for the last 3 years.
Byron has a broad understanding of and experience with the audio medium and is always 100% dedicated to achieving the best sound recordings.
He has worked on lots of international productions all over the world. Including Liberty, Madiba & Love on Safari. In Denmark, Byron has recently worked on Santas Daughter III, documentaries for Apple TV, commercials and is just about to start filming on the DR TV series The House.
Stig Sparre-Ulrich

Stig Sparre-Ulrich has been an active part of Danish film sound for more than 40 years.
Initially as a boomer, and later as a Sound recordist and Sound designer.
In recent times, Stig has been a Sound recordist on DR TV series and feature films - i.a. "Hvidstengruppen II", "Santa's Daughter III", "A beatiful Life". In addition, Stig has done Sound design on e.g. "Hvidstengruppen II", "Stille Liv" and has just finished Sound design for Anders Walter's new short fiction film "Ivalu”.
